Who is Isa Modern Medicine
Teaching Teachers — I train and initiate psychedelic facilitators, psychotherapists, and space holders to hold ceremonies, altars, and awaken their dormant gifts inside of their clinical practice. I have taught sacred space holding to nursing students at Columbia University and Penn University.
Registered nurse, somatic therapist, initiated medicine woman — Master of Science in Nursing (Columbia), BA in Dance + Political Science (Eugene Lang College), certified somatic therapist and applied neuroscience coach, bridge and steward of ancestral medicine practices, weaving with Mexican and Peruvian traditions alongside my elders. As a living Renaissance woman, I embrace and celebrate our multitudes.
Thirteen years guiding women through thresholds — I have been tending the sacred thresholds of life since I was a little girl wandering the forest, connecting to the great mystery of nature. I’ve been helping humans move through birth, death, grief, marriage, career transition, spiritual initiation, and many of the sacred passages modernity ignores.

Two hours of ceremonial cacao or tea, elemental purification, breath practice, live music, and deep somatic presence.

As an initiated ceremony leader, I create sacred space for life's thresholds: plant ceremonies, weddings and sacred unions, blessingways, first-moon rites, solstices, and equinoxes. Each one is one of a kind, rooted in the wisdom of the Earth, and dripping in beauty.
